Review: When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

3 stars.

When Dimple Met Rishi cover (link to Goodreads)

All Dimple wants is to become a great app developer, but her parents think she should be thinking more about dating and marriage. They arrange a marriage for her without her knowledge–with their good friend’s son, Rishi. The two are to meet at a programming conference. Of course things go hilariously wrong, and of course the two warm to each other. It’s handled well, for the most part, but for some reason, the whole thing didn’t quite land perfectly. Mainly I felt that some of the last third wasn’t completely necessary and didn’t add much, and some parts of that were a little annoying. The core plot was great, though, so I still enjoyed the read and would recommend it.
