And I Stumble onto the Stage

Well, look at that! I finally have a blog. Hopefully my future entries will be more exciting than this one is, and hopefully I will be able to figure out and apply a different color scheme soon.

Thoughts of the day:

1) Bra shopping is one of my least favorite things in the world to do.

2) Pregnancy is really helping me to get over any lingering squickiness related to needles that I may have had before I got pregnant. Sheesh. How many holes do they need to put in my body?

3) Jonathon is a nice guy for setting this blog up for me and then helping me install Dreamweaver on my computer and figure out how to use it to edit his style sheets. I knew there was a good reason I married him.

4) I don’t really get why Agatha Christie is such a famous mystery novelist. I don’t really like her novels. Anyone who cares to defend her or convince me to try again is more than welcome to do so.

5) There’s a couple in our ward with whom we have become friends. The benefits of this friendship are clearly apparent: the wife is an excellent baker, so we have ended up with mouthwatering treats two weekends in a row. Hooray for friends, especially those who can cook!

  1. Welcome to the world of blog, Brinestone. I’m excited you have one now, as I’m sure you’ll have lots of great things to say.

Nice work on making friends with the bakers.

  2. I can’t say that bra shopping is my least favorite thing in the world to do, but I can’t say that it’s my favorite either. Getting poked by needles, on the other hand, is definitely among my least favorite. That and working at the MTC call center, which thankfully I haven’t done in years.

  3. Oh, how lovely that you’ve finally joined us! I was wondering if it was too good to be true when I saw your name hyperlinked! Give me a bit and I’ll eventually add you to my blog links.

  4. Hey there! Good to see you starting a blog! And I agree about bra shopping that and pants shopping are two of my least favorite things to do.

How’s being pregnant been? Have you been sick much?

  5. I have to say, I’m a bit perplexed by the people who ask me if I’ve been sick much at this stage. I’m not saying they shouldn’t; after all, most of the people who ask me that have been pregnant themselves and obviously know what it’s like to be seven months along. I’m wondering if being sick is a common thing that I’m just missing out on.

I mean, yeah, I had nausea in my first trimester. But since then, I’m not sure I’ve been what I’d call “sick.” My joints ache, my skin feels stretched taut, I’m lethargic, and I feel huge. But sick? No, not really.

    How’s that for an answer?
