This is the fourth book in the John Cleaver series by Dan Wells, which starts off with I Am Not a Serial Killer. Definitely YA, it deals with demons and a sociopathic kid who grew up working in a morgue, now searching for the rest of the demons that have fed off of humanity for centuries with the help of one of their victims. This book is tied for my favorite in the series with the first book, but they’re all pretty good. I love how the series as a whole–and this book in particular–deals with questions of good and evil and all the shades of gray in between. Very thought provoking while also being a fun read.
