Duplo is stringing words together sometimes, but most of what he says is single words, repeated several times. If he sees a bird, for instance, he doesn’t just say “bird.” He says, in his sweet little quiet voice, “Bird! Bird! Bird! Bird! Bird!” This is true of at least half of his utterances. We think he’s just practicing making the sounds.
