Speaking of household chores . . .
Duplo loves the vacuum. Contrast this with my post about Lego from two years ago. Lego’s still not a huge fan of the loud noise the vacuum makes, but getting a new vacuum that makes less noise helped with that some. Duplo, on the other hand, will hold onto it while I (or Jonathon) push it back and forth, “helping” us vacuum. It makes the process take way longer than necessary, since it’s considerably more difficult to take long sweeps with it, or to change direction without knocking the little guy over in the process. Still, it’s so cute I let him continue on. And sometimes, when I’m feeling really charitable and have lots of time, I let him push it by himself. You can tell by the look on his face that he feels so important.
