In the last month or so, Duplo has started mimicking a lot of the things Lego does. If Lego sings, Duplo does too. If Duplo starts spinning in circles, you can bet Duplo will be doing it in a few seconds. The same goes for climbing, riding bikes, walking around in a pillowcase as if it were a gunnysack, putting a stock pot on his head, making funny noises, and saying prayers (lately we’ve been hearing echoes at prayer time).
What’s funny is that when we were playing outside a couple weeks ago, he started following our 2.5-year-old neighbor around and shadowing him instead of Lego. Maybe just because he’s closer to his own age?
