3 stars (I liked it).
Honestly, I debated even posting a review for this one because it really isn’t the sort of thing I generally enjoy reading, so take my 3-star rating with a HUGE grain of salt. Country music is not my fave, for one thing. But I follow the author on Twitter and find her delightful, so I decided to read the romance between two kids who fall in love and save each other while on a country music tour anyway.
And . . . I liked it. The romance worked well. It felt slow at times, mainly when the narrative focused on the tour (which I wasn’t interested in) rather than the kids (who I was). This was also a fair amount deeper and sadder than I expected going in. It still wasn’t really my thing, but if it is your thing, great.
