Lego has successfully learned all the major colors: red, yellow, blue, green, orange, purple, pink, brown, black, white, and gray. The last color he learned was gray, and before that, he didn’t know blue for a long time. He’s been able to identify red and green for months, though.
He loves to tell us what color things he sees are. We’ll often hear exclamations like, “red shirt!” or, “white truck!” Sometimes he’ll insist on using or playing with an object of a certain color, especially when it comes to his matchbox cars. The other day he kept asking us to read the “red car book.” Since he doesn’t have a book about a red car, we were completely stumped. The next day I found out that the book he meant was a book where, on one page, there was a red skateboard in the picture.
